It’s not only the Punjabis from India that make up the community but they are made up of the Punjabis from Pakistan as well. All the Hindu and Muslim Panjabi together make up the Punjabi community in Canada and they live with one another in perfect peace and harmony.

The second generation Punjabis are really doing well in Canada in all the different fields like business, science, engineering, trade and commerce. Many of them have also taken up jobs in the government departments where they are performing really well. Even though the Punjabi community lives in Canada they love to follow the Indian culture and tradition. You will often find the Punjabi women in Canada wearing Salwar suits and they speak in the Punjabi language among themselves. They love to come home to India and spend months back home with their relatives and friends.
